I began volunteering for the Cape Fear Literacy Council several years ago - tutoring, helping Dick’s Readers Theatre group; and now, shooting video of their performances.

It lists several types of volunteering - it’s not all tutoring - and there are MANY ways you can help! I’m sure they’d also appreciate your donation!

…and need help finding an organization you might like to work with, you might want to google, “how to find a volunteer organization near me.” Believe it or not, there are all kinds of places that might match you with a place to volunteer!
Just remember: ordinary people CAN do extraordinary things!
